I’m Pedro, a mechanical engineer who enjoys designing and building physical products. Most of my work has involved CAD, prototyping, manufacturing and testing, and I like being involved throughout the process rather than focusing on just one part of it.

I’ve worked on very different projects over the years, including a drone tracking system, an aircraft launcher, industrial machinery and product development. I’ve also spent a few years working outside engineering, which gave me experience with suppliers, procurement and the commercial side of a business. I think this mix has made me quite practical in the way I approach engineering and product development.

Outside work, I spend a lot of time drawing, working on bikes and riding them. I also enjoy building things for myself, including bikes and surfboards. I like outdoor sports, being in nature, and going on little adventure trips in my van with some friends or my girlfriend.

EXPERIENCE

Omnium Product & Process Development/Webshop. 2024 – Present · Copenhagen, Denmark.

Product design across CAD, prototyping, testing and production. Also responsible for webshop operations, logistics and improving internal workflows.

Donkey Republic Bike Mechanic. 2024 – Present · Copenhagen, Denmark.


Maintenance, repair and quality control of the bicycle fleet. Testing and development of new city bikes and app updates, with a focus on reliability and user experience.

Freddie’s Flowers Procurement. 2020 – 2023 · London, UK.

Managed procurement and supplier relationships, including pricing and commercial terms. Worked across finance, buying and styling to improve forecasting and purchasing decisions.

AGUMO Engineers Mechanical Design Engineer / Project Manager. 2019 – 2020 · Vigo, Spain.


Designed and delivered fish-processing equipment for vessels and factories, from CAD and prototyping through manufacturing and installation. Managed suppliers, budgets and timelines and regularly worked on-site with clients.

ThirtyForty Surfboards Personal project 2019 · Tui, Spain.

Designed and handcrafted custom surfboards, taking each board from 3D design and material selection through shaping and finishing. Explored different materials and production methods along the way.

EONSI Design & Manufacturing Mechanical Design Engineer. 2018 – 2019 · Vigo, Spain.

Worked on the design and manufacturing of plastic injection moulds for the automotive industry. Developed 3D models, supported simulation and testing, and followed designs through production.

Marine Instrument R&D Engineer . 2016 – 2018 · Vigo, Spain.

Developed mechanical systems for the Tunadrone UAV project, including a tracking antenna and portable aircraft launcher. Worked across CAD, prototyping, composites, 3D printing, electronics and field testing.
